Employment Opportunities with a Multi-institution Research Team

The Bowles Lab at Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON) seeks a postdoctoral associate starting in early 2023.  We are seeking a curious and organized problem-solver to join our interdisciplinary research lab.  We welcome applicants with a Ph.D. and expertise in biogeochemistry, geochemistry, microbial ecology, geomicrobiology, oceanography, or a related field.  For all questions email Dr. Bowles.

The Roberts Lab at LUMCON is also seeking a research technician to start early in 2023.  We are looking for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic applicant to join our interdisciplinary research lab.  We welcome those with a B.S./B.A. in biology, ecology, chemistry, or a related field.  For questions regarding this opportunity email Dr. Roberts.

The Meile Lab at the University of Georgia (Athens, USA) offers support for a marine sciences graduate student (MS or PhD), starting in the spring or fall of 20023.  We are looking for a highly-motivated student with a strong background in a STEM discipline to engage with an interdisciplinary field/lab/modeling research team and model the factors that either limit or enhance sediment methane escape.  Contact Dr. Meile for more information.
