The Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON) is accepting applications for positions of Marine Technician I, II, or III (depending on experience) in support of oceanographic research and communications technology aboard LUMCON’s research vessels including R/Vs Pelican, Point Sur, and Acadiana.
Ordinary Seaman
LUMCON is currently accepting applications for an Ordinary Seaman. The vessel is home-ported in Cocodrie, LA. The Ordinary Seaman is under the general supervision of the ship's captain; performs various functions pertaining to operation and maintenance of the vessel, waterfront maintenance, fieldwork, and related lab research projects.
Vessel Operations Able-Bodied Seaman
