PROGRAMS FOR THE PUBLIC
The DeFelice Marine Center in Cocodrie, Louisiana is open for self-guided tours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm seven days a week. You can meet the animals in our aquaria, learn about Louisiana’s marine side with our educational exhibits, climb the observation tower for a bird’s-eye view of the marsh, and birdwatch from our pond boardwalk.
Public groups (more than 10 people) are welcome to schedule a guided tour or a longer trip (including educational activities) into the salt marshes, bays, or island environments near Cocodrie.
